pray

Really if you have already applied, and by that Im guessing you turned in your application and met with a Superior at your place of hopeful future employment?

At this point all you can do is pray that you get the job. If not, you could perhaps call them in a week or so and ask for some tips ( in other words points that will make your resume stronger for your next job) some places will tell you flat out what went wrong in your resume that they didnt like, others wont. Just have to play that part by ear and go on your instincts.

You could probably call the employment place either Friday or Monday afternoon (provided they havent contacted you already) and see if any decisions have been made.

And finally, if this job doesn't work out and you aren't asked for an interview/job-- no worries. It obviously wasn't ment for you. Something better must be on the horizon. So in that case, work hard and stay focused.

Good Luck!

There is nothing you can do to make sure you get an interview, short of bribing everyone, but you might ring their personnel dept. and ask if it is possible for you to go and have a look around and see how the company works. This could help give a positive view of you to the company and if you can look around will give you the opportunity to ask questions about the firm form the people who should know. A good knowledge of the company is invaluable should you get an interview. Show an interest but don't nag them. If they want you they will ask you to interview, you can only try to give them as good a positive impression of you as possible. Remember there is fine line between showing interest and being a pain, don't be the latter. Good job hunting

I truly wish you well. All I can say to you is research your position and firm. Ask questions but not too many. Think about what you want from them and ask them if they can do the same for you if they don't ask you that. But dress for the occasion, sit with your hands on your lap, answer politely and fully..seeminly to include what you have learnt about the job. Give the firm a ring and ask who is doing the interviews.. if you can.. then find out what they would require of yourself. BEST OF LUCK!!!

I would always apply for any posisition exactly as your told to do so, eg pay attention o advert some have minor details that are there to see if you have eye for detail.

Also always enclose a covering letter, briefly explaining why you are applying for posistion and why company need you , always make c.v and letters so that they are interesting but hook reader so they have to invite you in .

Do not call a billion times, You can call once or twice and leave a message. Also if you didnt include a resume and a cover letter, do one and drop it off to be attached to your application.

your resume should be upto date and your cover letter to the point but use it as a forrum to outline all your attributes and relate them to the job. telephone numbers are up to date and I use to attach copies written referrences (past ones and copies of credentials) a well. People are visual and like to SEE it before they believe it!!

Turn to God if it is his will you will get the job. Also pray to the Lord and he will hand you the job. In case you don't get that job you'll get something close to that one. Lots of luck I'll pray for you.

Give it a week or two and ring them and ask when they are doing interviews and ask if they have looked at your application..that makes you look keen which is a good thing!

Call, and find out when interviews will be conducted. The more your name is in their head, the more likely they are to remember and ask you to come in.
