Was misjudged. Would never intentionally hurt anyone and now I have been hurt back. I feel so unhappy.. can anyone help me?

It wasn't a relationship.. it was just something that happened because I couldn't do something that someone asked me to do because someone I know had died and was very upset at the time. Sorry can't be any more specific.. but they knew what had happened and didn't want to know basically. I am so sad that people don't care anymore about others..

You sound like me, someone who always tries to see the good in people, but y'know what? Some people *are* asshats. I know that sounds harsh, but it is true. You've just got to console yourself in the fact that you found out *now* and not five years down the line... Some people are married for years before they find out what a swine their partner really is ; )
There are good people out there, more good than bad, I believe. I wish you all the luck in world finding them : )

People DO care, the answers you've had here prove it. The problem is that it isn't always easy to find someone who will help and support you; so many people take from you all the time and when you need them, they aren't there for you. Try to sort things out with this person; maybe write them a letter explaining that you didn't mean to hurt them. Even if they don't respond you will feel better knowing that you tried to put things right. If they reject you, you must move on, hard though it may be.

Do you mean someone 'read the signs' and you weren't actually giving any off? It's tough, but you just have to let them down. Time will help them get over it, and you can do the same. Just try to get on with things.
No one gets an easy ride in this game. If you don't get the downs, the ups wouldn't be so great.
