i didn't think the ACLU helped anyone but themselves.

If the ACLU helps someone, it is protecting their constitutional rights from abuse. If you don't see that as helping everyone in this country, maybe you should find a place that doesn't value personal liberties as much, to live!

The ACLU has stood up for many American's rights when they were being abused.

American Civil Liberties Union. Whether or not you agree with every issue they represent, they fight to defend our constitutional rights. Anyone who disagrees with this is un-American.

Anyone here in a whole **** load of trouble ? They mainly defend people who are getting the whipping post for heinous crimes. Or else attacking traditionalist religion institutions.
