is it hereditary?......hormonal?.......feel free to jump in on this...

I guess that for generation after generation your forefathers lived in very cold conditions, or they were something like well diggers for a living. It is in some way genetic, but also know that the splicing of the female and male genetic make-up sometimes creates some strange characteristics that are not very rational or explainable. Love your warm body parts as if it was a gift from the Gods.
A Seer's, way back a million years ago, may have taken one look at your body and declared you a very active person with little time to sit on your rear. Or a thinker who had more than one reason to be lost in thought, and subsequently will spend lots of time sitting and thinking. It was a matter of the Seer's feelings envy or puzzlement.
You were with certainty not a John Doe!

This sounds like a hormonal problem if you're a guy, or a girl this could be a very high level of testosterone. Sounds like you have a hormonal issues. See a doctor the excessive hair growth is a sign.

Except for the hair on my head, I look bald. Even my eyebrows seem to be non-existent. I have such fine hair that it can't be seen. I have a lot of hair though, so, I think it might have to do with the color of your hair, like some of my friends, who are less hairy than me, but you can see their hair. Not a big deal.

Be careful with the waxing thing. First it's your buttocks then the legs, arms, and chest. Before you know it you will become a full blown crossdresser like me.

How old are you? Anyone else in your direct family have the same thing? I would venture to say it's hereditary although there could be many reasons for it... are you on any special medications?

Must be genetic. Are your mom or dad (or uncles/aunts) on the hairy side?
If it really bothers you a lot, I believe they have laser-based operations that can permanently close down body hair.
