Ok -
1. Three-fold law states that whatever you send out, good or bad will come back to you three times as strong.
2. People who believe in the three-fold law, generally do not practice black or harmful magic, so, to me, it doesn't work.
3. If someone casts a spell for you, I would hope it will be with your consent. if not, then the spell will simply rebound on the spellcaster, or simply not work at all.
4. I have no idea how many people believe in black magic, as I am Wiccan, and don't practice it.
5. I'm not sure science could accurately quantify it, but evidence would be when the spell works. E.G. If you need money for something, you could do a little spell to help you out, as long as it isn't to win the lottery, as that wouldn't work. Some time later, you could then get a rebate, or have more shifts open to you at work, or get a pay rise.
6. Spells usually work within a lunar month, but can take longer depending on the depth and seriousness of the spell. I would say that if after a year nothing has happened, the chances are, it wont, and it simply wasn't meant to be.
7. Wicca is a nature based religion that believe in a dual deity concept of the Goddess and God, and they do sometimes do 'sympathetic' or white magic, which is never against others, and never intended for harm. I am not qualified to answer for Black Magic, but I do not do it. White Magic is magic that does not harm anything human, animal or otherwise living, and is never cast upon people, unless someone asks you for a spell for them. Grey Magic is often described as what magic really is, as many practitioners feel that no magic is black or white, and that it is simply what is in the heart of the caster that makes it good or evil.
8. That is a rather complex question. Spells can range from simple incantations or affirmations, to complex rituals that need to be completed over several days or weeks. They are done in relation to the situation they are needed.
9. I only ever cast spells if I need them, and not when I want something, and I wont cast spells for others, unless they desperately need it and believe it will work, as that is the key to a spell working or failing.
I hope I answered your questions well enough!

1. The three fold law is a basic tenent of wicca, what you do for good or for ill will be returned to the caster (and any of thier cohorts) three times... This has NOTHING to do with Karma which is a Hindu concept that spans lifetimes. According to Hindu belief, if you fulfill the dharma of your caste, then your karmic reward is that you will be elevated in caste in your next life, Karma is not "what goes around comes around" as many inexperienced new age practioners seem to believe...
2. According to Sir J.G. Frazier in his tome "The Golden Bough" ... the laws of magic are the law of similarity or like affects like, and the law of contagion. Meaning that once two things have been in close contact they remain somehow magically connected even after they are physically seperated.
"black magic" works in either of these two ways.
3. The more inexperienced you are, the easier the gods tend to go on you ( in my expereince) If you cast a spell (or you had an experinced practitioner cast one for you) you can expect repercussions. Spell work is like throwing a stone in calm water. Ripples are made, and they are far reaching. If the effect that was desired from the spellwork is achieved, that is one effect, but expect others... payback can be a *********. If you are asking if things have happened to me personally for my spell work the answer would be a definitive YES... on many levels, from social to emotional to psycological effects...
4. I don't know if there has ever been a count of how many people believe it... you figure there are more than 6 billion people on the planet, and it would be a logistical nightmare to ask everyone...but there has been an upsurgance in interest in paganism and magic in the west... i think the numbers are growing...
5 Is there science to support belief in god or jesus or allah? magic works because people believe it works. just like prayer works because people belive in the power of god...
6. That depends on the spell, sometimes it takes a lunar cycle, sometimes it takes a year, sometimes it takes a week... it is not about how long it takes to work, it is about acting in accord to facilitate the desired outcome.
7. Wicca is a new age mystery religion. It is an amalgam of masonic/golden dawn ritual structure and european folklore. It began in the late 1940's with a british civil servant named Gerald Gardner. Magic is magic... it is a tool, most wiccans or other new age practitoners will balk at the notion of "white magic, black magic & grey magic" however in some cultures where magic is more pervasive such as in Hispanic Santaria culture or Hatian voodoo culture, white magic is practicing magic with the 'right hand' and black magic is practicing magic with 'the left hand' ... there really is not middle ground there... so the notion of "grey magic" is not accepted... there are some very potent Mamba's and Santarian practitoners that can "practice with both hands"... but most have the sense not to cross that line, because it is possible to lose controll of yourself and the "left hand LOA or Orisha" can take over, if the practitioner is not practiced or disciplined enough...
8 Spell work is tapping into your True Will, raising energy and directing that energy to affect change. It is a fairly invloved process, it takes practice, knowledge & understanding. Knowing how to ground & center is important, learning the witches pyramid and how it works is also important. Learning magical correspondences of herbs, stones, runes, sigils, colors, oils, astrological data, the wheel of the year... is also important. If you dont know these things than it is unlikely your spellwork will be successful Casting a spell is not like following a recipie...
9. Although it is possible, it is highly unlikely that first attempts will be successful, that is why you journal your attempts, keeping a record of your failures is a powerful learning tool.

What ever you give you get back 3 folded
Magic works by moving engry from one place to another. Each type of engery asits own vib. so what you need it for is the kind you tap into. It works thur the will of the casting. It takes years to learn how to find then tap then use the rightengery. There is no black magic it is how it is used that makes it good or not. If you distroy an someone tring to hurt you or your famliy that is not dark, if you do it just becasue that is dark.
If you are the one responable for evil you will be the one punish. most witches will not cast dark spells for others.
There is now over a million active covens and more who practice alone.
No more than what we see happens after we cast a spell.
I have had then work right away and sometimes it can take up to a month. The powers work in thierown time
There really is non. Its how its used that make a difference
That is to long to go into here.

Why are people too lazy to actually look it up?
1. The threefold law has NOTHING to do with black magick. It says "Whatever you do comes back to you three times as strong as you sent out". So... if you do something terrible to someone, something worse will happen to you because you hurt someone.
2. No one knows that. But I can tell you why *I* think it works. Everything is made up of energy. Even matter. Magick works by our will taking control of that energy to make it do what we want it to do. All of the "stuff" like candles and colors mean nothing. They only help us concentrate to focus our will.
3. Only if you disobeyed Harm None.
4. Dunno.
5. Yes... learn basic science. One of the laws of physics that we know is that energy cannot be created nor destroyed but only change form. Magick doesn't deny science.
6. Dunno. It goes out immediately. But it may or may not work. It's not an exact sort of thing.
7. Google Wicca and find out about it. I'm not going to type it all out. As for magick, well magick is none of those things. It just is. But black magick can be said to be anything that harms another person.
8. I don't teach people to do magick over the internet. And, in order to teach it, I have to be convinced that the person is going to treat it with the seriousness it deserves. So I won't tell you how a spell is done.
9. Yes, you can. But it may or may not work. Likely not because you don't understand what you're doing.

This is more than one question.
1. http://wicca.timerift.net/three.shtml
2. What does race have to do with magic? http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/aba/defs.html
3. It depends.
4. How should I know?
5. http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/aba/defs.html
6. It depends.
7. Wicca is a religion, black magic and white magic depends on the definition, and I've never heard of "grey magic"...what about mauve magic? :p
8. It depends.
9. It takes dedicated study and practice to be successfull. If you're looking for a quick fix, you're SOL.

black magic is no different than that crazy white magic. Magic is magic....a tool, that can be teetered back and forth on the edge of a fulcrum. Please don't fall for the black versus white magic bile people try to spread as their is no such thing.
If you want differeing colors of magic, play Warhammer....if you are truly interested in magic all by itsself, then you don't need a rainbow array of skittles flavored descriptions.

The idea of white/black magic isn't much different than karma in general (though 3-fold means that you get what you give times three. So you're better off putting good into the world, so you receive 3 times the good back.)
I don't like the idea of curses because the world won't get any better (for you or anybody else) if you return evil for the evil you get. Bad things happen, and to make the world better, you have to be willing to just go on and be a good person regardless. It's the whole Jesus-Gandhi-Martin Luther King, Jr. thing. You return peace for war, love for violence. Sometimes, you just...do nothing. It's liberating to show people that even though they hate you, you won't stoop to their level.
Really, it doesn't matter if evil happens. Two wrongs don't make a right. You don't have the right to do evil things just because somebody mistreated you. You'll still be wrong. You can take reasonable measures to protect yourself and get out of bad situations, but other than that, you just have to swallow the bad things that happen and make a commitment not to perpetuate evil acts. The world won't change if you don't give good in return for bad.
Don't take it like I'm weak--I'm much stronger than when I was in full retaliation mode. It takes a lot more strength to be good than to be evil, and you'll see the benefits of that strength when you decide to be good. Returning evil for evil just sinks you into the mire of evil. You'll be trapped, stuck to something you hate because YOU have made the connection by your evil retaliation. Instead of moving on, you'll be linked to something you despise, and it will warp you into the very thing you thought you were fighting.
Focus on making yourself strong enough to get away from evil, and we'll all be better off. You, too.

1. that your deeds ('good' or 'evil') will come back to you threefold : some call this karma
2. with enough self convincing - anyone can make themselves believe that something is 'working' and act accordingly ...
3. 'bad' things will happen anyway: depends on if you want to attribute it to 'a spell' (or not).
4. who knows?
5. more like psychology than science, I would imagine
6. umm -instantly would be ideal?
7. haha - different cloaks? seriously though those beliefs are hard to define as a whole, some Aleister Crowley research would probably help.
8. of course, that would depend on said 'spell' but I have come across many variations... from simple candle burning to human sacrifice ...
9. well, i would not recommend the human sacrifice to start with but hey - to each their own...
let me know if it works!!

What ignorance you posess! The threefold law has nothing to do with black magic. It has to do with Wicca.
http://wicca.timerift.net/three.shtml
And NO I'm not telling you how black magic works. It can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.
