What you need to do is drink lots and lots and lots and LOTS of water. Basically, a hangover is dehydration. The alcohol sucks you dry and your body can't compensate for all the water lost. The more water you drink, the better you will feel. Avoid heavy or greasy foods and take an advil or two. The more water you drink, the faster you will flush your system of any lingering alcohol or toxins and the better you will feel as you rehydrate.
If I know I'm going out to party, I drink water like a freaking fish before I go. That way I either A) don't get a hang over at all or B) it is very, very minimal.
I must also say that you should be drinking at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day. I feel compelled to say this, because I am about to finish school to be a massage therapist, and that is how much water you need a day to stay healthy.
Look how easy this cure is! And cheap, too. Hope you feel better soon!

A B vitamin, two crackers and a full glass of water. Alcohol is a diuretic and makes the body expel water. Out with the water go vitamins you need, especially B vitamins which, if you have too few will lead to headaches and feeling ill. Crackers help your body absorb the B vitamin and a full glass of water ensures its delivery to your system, helping you feel better faster.

The absolute best and most effective hang-over cure is to not drink to excess in the first place.
