there is this guy that i really like. he's perfect...he races dirtbikes, fights in the UFC, has a super nice truck, his own place, a pitull...pretty much everything that i like in a guy. only problem is, he's my brother's best friend. we "hooked up" after he went to boot camp for the marines. i think he's great but i'm afraid he doesn't want to be anything more then a **** buddy bcuz i'm his best friends sister. is it wrong to want him for more then just a friend?

It is your right!
However, you may talk with your brother and ask what he think!

Men they know each other better. Your brother is loving you and he WANTS the best of best for YOU! SO, trust him and talk with him.

Do not have any sex with him, as your bother may get upset with him and you both. There are a lot of men outside. Never select a person that your family knows for 'sex' and 'short relationship'.

However for long relationship and 'marriage' it is okay.

I can speak from personal experience. Have you tied asking him? Some guys might be afraid of showing affection. Yet, he is your brothers' best friend. Depending on how long he has known your brother, he might just see you as his sister, or in this case, a **** buddy. Since I am a Marine also, I know what he's going through while in basic. It's a very trying and difficult time for him. I'm sure your brother has his mailing address. Send him letters and pictures, too. Basically anything from home will brighten his day and make basic training that much easier from him. If you have the time and money go see him for his graduation. That is a time when a Marine is most happy and would love company. If the dice roll right, you'll catch his eye and a romance spark might flicker. Good luck!

stay as far away from that as you possibly can. there are tons of other guys in the world that meet your criteria and aren't your brother's best friend.

Well, I don't think it's wrong, but it's sure wierd for your brother. Plus, if you break up, he is in the middle and vice versa. Think about man!
