I may be asking this prematurely, but as of today my period has arrived ten days early (16 days). Could this be a sign of a serious health problem?

In adolescence it was not unusual for me to have a 17 day cycle, but for six years now <20 is abnormal. I realize that periods can vary but I have not been under undue stress and this is a rather radical change. I also am feeling very weak not having had time to recover from the last one!

I'm in my mid 20s. There's no chance I am pregnant. I had a yearly pelvic and a normal pap smear in August.

Any ideas? I might call my ob/gyn tomorrow. I like to be informed before I show up to doctor appointments and I'm trying not to panick. Thanks in advance!

U possibly need some B vitamins,
Periods are always either on time or irregular as can be.
Dont get upset, its probably the change of weather.
Now pap smears can make your period irregular too.
It will get back to normal soon.
