it's a spider, for all of you who aren't familiar with them. and they do eat birds in the wild. that's why they're called "bird-eaters".

The great bird eater. There is no such thing as a docile one. They are very mean spiders and will bite you in a second. In the wild they will attempt to hunt a small bird on the ground but there main diet consist of small rodents, lizards, frogs, and other spiders. This is the type of spider you want to keep in a 10 gallon tank or some thing smaller. I have kept them in small rubber maid plastic totes with holes drill in there lids for air. Try not to handle them because like I said they will bite you.

yeah, i be conscious of! what's up with that? human beings don't have a experience of humor by actuality an really good form of the concepts that are humorous get an really good form of thumbs down. I purely ever use thumbs down if a guy or female is previous rude or concepts a question with something like "i don't be conscious of" lol

They are not. If you want to own one I would not handle it without protection. They are great for display. By the way they really do not hunt brids but well eat pink mice and small frogs.

Ive only had experience with a inch long pink foot goliath spiderling and it was skittish and flighty.
