The slope of a horizontal line is 0. The slope
of a vertical line is undefined. You can't really
compare these.

Horizontal is a zero slope, and vertical is undefined, because you can not have a run of 0.

hroizontal lines are always positive and negative. vertical lines, if truely vertical, are always 100%, or 90 degrees. slope for lines can be either a ratio (4:12), a percentage (3%), or a degree (4 degrees).
