Prices, clothing type, how many, and is there a Mall?

Don't go to a mall! Enjoy the small boutiques.
Italians have the best jeans, beautiful shoes and bags, and the coolest tops.

Haute couture (and copies thereof), leather goods, art - originals and reproductions, food, wine, olive oil, jewellery etc etc
Don't go to a mall - enjoy the colour of a street market (but not for haute couture!)

Same as here. Leather is better quality. You won't get treated like crap (at least I didn't). Florence has a great shopping area. Enjoy yourself!
