Okay, so listen to this.
In 2008, I'm going on a flight to Europe, which will consist of flying into Paris... traveling for a while, then flying out from Milan.

I was just wondering because I'm going to be with a large tour group if instead of having to buy alcohol there if i could just check it in my luggage and fly it over with me.

Is checking alcohol in your luggage illegal?

I believe that you can check alcohol in your luggage. I would suggest that make sure that it is packed so it won't break, because your luggage does get thrown around quite a bit when traveling. I would also suggest that you check with the TSA website before you leave http://www.tsa.gov/ the regulations are changing every day and by 2008 things could be totally different then today.

Have a great trip!
