What snake do u think i should choose?

i like how the ball pyhton looks but the corn snake is easier to keep because it doesnt get as big.

I've kept other reptiles before but i've never kept a constrictor.

any other advice is appreciated

the ball pythons are the easiest to care for. i have 2 of them and i don't do much for them. i have a heat pad, heat light, bowl for water, substrate for the bottom, and a rock for them to rub against when they shed. they will get about 5ft for the females and 4ft for the males. my kids handle them everyday and they do not get aggressive at all, unlike the corn snake as if you handle them the wrong way they will try to bite, and corns can get mean when it comes to feeding them, unlike the ball python they will not be mean when food is given. i feed mine once a week and they get rats and i feed my female out of my hand and my male trys but hasn't gotten the idea of how to grab the rat. but over all you should get a ball python if you want a snake as a pet.

I would say a ball python, corn snakes aren't that attractive, I feel, ball pythons come in many different morphs as they're called and have very unique patterns. Whereas, the corns are just red with slight patterns but nothing compared to the balls. And balls don't get big length wise, reaching a max of approx. 5 ft. which is about how big a corn will get. It's just the girth that makes the ball seem SO big. An adult ball will only need a 30-40 gallon tank and once feed and deficated an adult ball can be let to roam around a room, as long as they're aren't any really tight spaces you won't be able to get him/her out of. the ball will just hangout, like a cat or dog.

Ball Pythons have an easier going attitude than the corns! They don't get to be too much longer than about 5 -6 feet long. They are easier to handle when they do get big, they are not quite as fast.

I think you should stick with the ball pythons cuz i use to breed snakes!!!
But corns are easyer to handle like you said becuz they dont get as big ad the pythons but the pythons are so sweet!!!!
And they are easy to handle too untill they get big Trust me i use to have a lot of snakes in my house

Corn snakes are easier.

Here's a care sheet on corn snakes:

and here's one on ball pythons:

Hope this helps with your decision!

i have one of each! both females! they are both very tame! but if i was forced to only keep one, it would be my 7 year old corn snake!! they are cheaper & easier to care for! plus they don't curl in a ball if they are startled!! i must add that nether have ever bitten!!

a corn snake is a constrictor. it may not be in the boid family but it still kills by constricting its prey. get a corn. it will save you a lot of time money and grief.

Ball pythons are THE sweetest animals. My little cousin got one for her seventh Christmas; it's very friendly, and very easy to care for. When they get big, all you have to do is feed more and get larger tank; a stronger and.or larger heat lamp is needed too.
Whichever suits you more, though. :)
