I've visited multiple websites but haven't found anything that stands out. What are some ideas that your school has done? That is, if you're willing to share?

Candygrams or food selling is out of the question. LAws and such apparently. Any help would be appreciated.

Consider holding clinics for younger kids. For example, if you're part of a girl's softball team (high school,) hold skills clinics during the winter for girls in elementary school. Have you coach manage/oversee, to be sure there's real learning going on for the attendees. Have them scheduled over 3-4 weekend mornings and charge about $50-$75 for each child's attendance for all sessions. Consider multiple sessions, grouped by age. Can work for all sports.

I was the chairperson for Headstart and we had a really great fundraiser. We went around to local businesses and got donations (Make sure you have an official school letterhead to print information on about your fundraiser and make copies to give to the businesses). We got donations of free oil changes, candles, grocery gift certificates, free pizzas, stuffed animals etc. We then made up a gift basket and raffled it off (3 chances for $1). The businesses were amazingly generous and the raffle was a great success! (The basket ended up being worth over $700. dollars!) Make sure you keep a list of the businesses and what they donated , so you can put it on a flyer and so you can send thank you cards later. :)

Clothing orders that have school names/mascots/logos but that are designed with student input on colours, wording, etc. This is always a moneymaker! Personalized waterbottles can be ordered and they always sell out!
