It was a few years ago and I was 25 at the time. I ran a fraud control team of 25 people at an MCI. I had a woman on my team that was 20 years old. She was a complete loon. Constantly coming in late and saying really digesting things at work. She got kicked out of her parent’s house and went off the deep end. Among other things she started getting really sloppy with her work and I began writing her up. Finally it was getting close to the point were she was going to be fired. My supervisor wanted to suspend her and we all meet in his office to tell her. As soon as he started mentioning suspension, she said she felt sexually harassed by me. At that point I left the room and HR was brought in to discuss. She made up a lot of things and referenced one true conversation I had with another manger months ago (Nothing to do with her, but it was off color humor). After a week long investigation I was cleared, but they never fired her. They moved her to another team and she continued her issues.

The worst part of this ordeal was having to sweet it out for a full week. You never know how HR will react to these types of allegations. I was just wondering if anyone else ever had an unfair accusation like this brought against them?

Yes I have..........Thank GOD the other women that I worked with stood up for me with the management.

She was trying to make me do her work as well as my own. We had an argument about it and then she told me she would get me fired.......all this was within earshot of the three other women that stood up for me (again thank God).
