Nothing is great about it.The whole thing is stupid and idiotic.

I don't have too much of an opinion on Gothic, but my husband has a friend who is into Emo (his myspace spot says "spreading the gospel of emo") and I am not a fan.

Well, death is great about goth. We have a disturbing passion for The Inevitable.
We particularly like sharing it with emo types.
And pop starlets.
And rappers. Eminem.
And people who are cheerful in the morning. Or the afternoon.
And people who giggle.
And motivational posters: we realize they're not alive per se, but we enjoy introducing them to death anyway.
And the color pink.
And Remington Steele: abondon hope and die. Or just die.
I don't kow why I bother. Whether you read this or not, we're all going to die anyway.

I am not either but I guess it depends on what kind of clothes and music they like...they must think it is great...it is not to me

it depends on what you like. i,a cyber goth, likes the dark,scary,horror things that most people don't. thats what makes it great for me.
so its not whats great, just personnal taste. people who judge us before they actually know us are stupid.

Nothing. It is really ugly and dumb.My daughter does both and it sickens me. Of course, that for her is probably the great part for her.

IDK emo is ok I guess. I mean they're still people. I just hate it when people act goth or emo just to fit in like it's a style or a new trend. (stupid people....)
