I am making a home made baby book for my unborn child. I am trying to scan pictures to my pc ( which I can do) but I was to add text/captions to them (which i cant do). I though i could load the pictures into notepad and add text that way but i cant. Do I need a certain program or software to do this? If so can you tell me where I can get a program free? (Running on windows XP)

u have photoshop or paint/paint shop pro? put em in there and hit "insert>Text/textbox" or the like

why not use one of the many online photo sharing sites. they let you add captions to them.

try to download this,www.epson.com/downloads/epson smart panel it has all kind of scan to applacations in it,i use it.check it out.
