"The Notebook" (Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
~About an old man reading a notebook to his wife (that she wrote) that suffers from forgetfullness about their youth when they were teenagers in the 1940s.
They both die together in the same bed in the end.
"Scarlett Letter" (Gary Oldman and Demi Moore)
~ plot set in 1600s about a young widow who has an affair with a young handsome priest (soul crushingly handsome Gary Oldman). The young widow gets preggars with his priests baby. People find out that this young woman had an affair and she has to wear the letter "A" for adultry. The people do not know that she had an affair with this priest. Watch the movie.
"Somewhere in Time (Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour)
~ a young man named Richard (Christopher Reeve) gets obsessed with a young beautiful woman in the picture thats dated back to 1912. He finds out about time travel by talking to his professor and he says affirmations to go back in time where he visits this young beautiul woman. At the end this young man travels back to the current time period (1982) and he gets sick because he cannot live with his love (Elise) and he keeps trying to say affirmations to go back to the year 1912 but is unsuccessful at it. After a week of not eating, this young man dies. *Spoilers*
I'm a movie and a chick flick fanatic and this is by far the best romantic movies, I've seen and recommend.
