Depends on which Mexican protest you re talking about.....

Mexico is protesting the plans to build new walls and send the National Guard to the 2,000-mile (3,200-km) border that hundreds of thousands of Mexicans sneak across every year in search of jobs.

Thousands of anti-government demonstrators marched through this tense colonial city on Sunday, demanding the security forces abandon camps they set up last week to end a five-month protest. The protests began in May when teachers struck for better pay and conditions in one of Mexico's poorest states. When police violently broke up one of their demonstrations in June, protesters expanded their demands to include the ouster of Oaxaca Gov. Ulises Ruiz, whom they accuse of rigging the 2004 election that brought him to power.

Oaxaca is really gettin' the sh*t knocked out of it. I don't really know why & I want American Television to tell us what is happening over there. My Spanish is limited & I only see this story being reported on the Spanish Language Networks & nothing on the "Big 3" networks. I wonder if it is still a teacher strike as it was explained to me last month by a member in Mexico.

In an incredible bit of irony, Mexicans are protesting the rigging of their elections, sound familiar. Except they have the nachos to get out in the street and go on strike, which is what you should do when your vote is stolen!

I believe their president's term is about to end.

"Fox leaves office this week with his promises to win greater access to the United States for Mexican immigrants..."

What a strategy! Improve your people's lives by forcing other countries to take care of them.

Hey Vincente Fox, how about actually FIXING Mexico's economy instead of just sucking up our resources?
