No skeletal remains have yet been unearthed that match the classic dragon profile. However, there is some evidence that suggests a few dinosaur survivors may have coexisted with early man, and together with the occasional skeletal piece uncovered thru man's history, could provide the root to all the legends.

Dragons mean many things.... real dragons don't breath fire and are lizards... Komodo Dragon (very large and hostile monitor like lizard) and the Flying Dragon (small lizard which can stretch its frame to make itself glide as if it had wings).
The dragon of mythology does not exist, be it the Chinese or the European. Where did this symbol arrive to man.... Many theories, one of which we cannot ignore is the relationship to Dinosaurs, and perhaps they are memories/nightmares buried deep within our subconscious that are left there when our rodent like mammals ran running for cover when the Dinosaurs ruled the earth, to them these monsters must have been the Dragons that our collective consciousness seem to remember.
