i have to write a paper on any aspect of criminal justice?

and im stuck my professor said not to write on DEATH ROW cause its so over done but i have no idea what to write about any ideas? thanks in advance

You could write about how in some states life in prison is not really life in prison. Or how some people get years for a seemingly minor crime while others get little or no time for homicide. Or you could write about how celebrities always seem to get acquitted for crimes. Or you could write about criminal defense lawyers and how they can defend someone who is guilty. Or you could write about the differences of federal, state and local crimes and the differences in these justice systems.

the racial biast of the criminal justice system, the inequities of minorities why the make up over 80% of our prison population but less then 10% of D.A.'s and Appalete court judges, or how in work release jails almost 75 percent of the "inmates" are WASP, thats what I would write about.
