Hey there. I'm planning on going to denmark next year to study and get my bachelor's and possibly my master's degree in English. The reason i'm going is because my fiance lives there and I plan on living there some day as well. I'd like to know if getting a student visa for denmark is especially difficult? I'm pretty much assured that I can get into the school I have chosen.

I have met many foreign students in Denmark (including from USA), and I don't think it will be difficult at all to get a student visa once you have been admitted to the school/college/university that you are planning to go to. You must just show that you have funds to support yourself while you are there, and that you speak the language that you will be taught in. You get the visa for one year at a time, so you must apply every year.
I have provided the link for student visas on the official institution in Denmark, that deals with all visas and permits - it is called "udlændingestyrelsen" in danish.
