The ulcer was probably there already, the salt on the crisps merely brought it to your attention.
Simple tincture of Myrrh will soon get rid of it. Or if that doesn't suit, try a tube of Adcortil in Orabase from the chemist. Both are very effective.

Peroxide is the best remedy for your tongue. Dip your tongue in peroxide several times a day and it will go away. Try it!! Good Luck and Good Health

Yes gargle with Betadine Gargle and Mouthwash. It really is the best. I use it all the time now to prevent getting mouth ulcers

Ooo I know how you feel, I get them quite often, keep dipping the end of your tongue in vinegar, it will soon go away

Tabasco + black pepper + Mexican chillies. Rub it on your ulcer until you feel a greater pain than what you are feeling now. Amputate your tongue. TAD DAM !!! No tongue = No ulcer.
