Well, the GOP lost the microphones and cameras when it lost the election. The terrorists are still there, doing their thing, at their own pace, regardless of our political process.

The scaremongering will come back. Just wait till the 08 election cycle. Once a guy says he's running for president everything he says becomes newsworthy. (even if it's not)

The growth in terrorism and terrorist acts can be single handedly laid to door of the failed policy of Blair and Bush. Terrorists and terrorism have always existed and common people have always condemned and hated their activities. However, with the failed Iraqi Invasion and attack of muslim countries, these people have almost found an excuse for their heidous act.

Did I read that right? Terrorist don't exist now like they didn't exist 20 years ago? So what was 9/11, a practical joke?

Some of them have died, others are still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is a video on Fox News on line that says they are heading by the droves to Europe. They blew up a train in India a few days ago. Other than that they haven't let me know.

What's the point of continuing it? For good or ill, we Americans have made our choice. It's up to the terrorists to take advantage of the situation now, or not.

A tad self-righteous, aren't you?

What about the Democrat scare tactic of using the threat of a draft to help them get elected? Pretty damned funny that it was a Democrat who brought this up. Again. He tried it a few years ago, too. So what's the difference? Both sides said vote for the other side and die - so please spare me the pompous attitude.

And are you SERIOUSLY trying to say there are no terrorists? Incredible.

Last I saw on the news most of them moved to Europe. If I were them I would be very afraid.
