Although it gets rave reviews I don't think TOO many whites like being referred to as REDNECKS; the Foxworthy books and jokes.

It's because white folk particularly British, have a superiority complex & believe that being white British makes them better then everyone else. Of course a lot of them are racist & the they are the most intolerant race. It is taboo for them to admit being racist today,but remember how the blacks and asian's were offically 2nd class citizens when they first came in? In actual fact, they were the ones who caused many wars and became rich of stealing from other country's initially. Of course in actuality all races are equal,however bear in mind that some racial stereo types aren't necessarily false or prejudice either.

WOW, good question. You know, I feel in todays society that if we were to have a caucasian society, you know people would be like oh my god nazis, even if the group meant well. Just think about that. Anywho, I guess theres no BIG specific sterotype, I guess it depends where you live and such. I almost feel as if some people still have to seperate blacks from whites when talking about society, and if we didn't do that, we would have yet another step into our more "balanced society." This probably made no sense to anyone, and for that I am sorry.

The stereotype that bothers me the most is when other races look at whites as being racist. Sure there are some, but most of us are pretty decent people.

I get bothered by the common belief that all white people are descended from slave owners, and, if given half a chance, would reinstitute slavery. White people like that are in the vast minority. Most of us grew up in a multicultural setting, with friends of all races and do not deserve to be lumped with racists.
