After I turn in my college applications for my colleges ( which is after christmas) does my remaining grades for my second semester of my senior year still matters? Will colleges look at those grades or can i just maintain them from going below a D.

Yes if you need to get a certain GPA to get in,you need to maintain that GPA. You will need to turn in a final transcript before you are actually admitted to the college. They need all the documents before they let you register (usually), if you do not keep up on the parameters of your acceptance, they can deny you admission or admit you conditionally and basically put you on a probation status right away.

Yes they will definitely matter, I am also a senior and was wondering the same thing. Most colleges request midyear and end of year grades, some kids have actually been denied access to a college for slacking in their last semester.

YES, those grades definitely matter!! Your college will request a final transcript and they can reject you based on new grades (even if they previously accepted you). You should keep your grades at the same level or better so you can keep your place at the school you plan to attend.

you have to keep your grades up. usually colleges send you an email or tell you somewhere that they can withdraw your acceptance if your gpa falls below what you reported. bsides its not a good idea to do so cause they may ask additional information before accepting you.goodluck and dont do it.
