Let the time pass by because that's the only thing that can take care of such a huge loss in ones life. There is no balm, no philosophy, no bandage, and no peace with a loved ones death. You don't ever get over it completely. But in truth, time will mend so much. So just let the time pass by and as it passes it will wash the hurt away as much as you let it. It will not wash out your memories but it will soothe the pain...in time.

you never really get over a death but time really does ease the pain. Take one day at a time and it will get better.
