Why not...
1. Not as much understanding of the world around you.
2. A lot of wars fought for dumb reasons...well that still happens today...but still.
3.The Black Death.
4. The government had stircter punishments and based decisions off religion.
5. The bathrooms were gross.

Why I would..
1.Warfare required more bravery, and in your face fighting...not shooting a guy or leaving bombs on the road.
2.Warfare did not have as much mass killing as today's, rather large battles where it was all duked out between two armies away from civilians. (Unless a city was being sieged) D8
3. You had more of a chance for adventure.
4.You could get away with breaking more laws.
5. You could have sex with medieval women. (sry, I went blank...)

Live there (or then, I guess)
1- Knights in shining armor fighting with swords and maces
2- Castles
3- It would be cool to see how the feudal system worked firsthand
4- Ummm...knights
5- And Castles!

Not Live then
1- Getting killed by knights in not-so-shining armor
2- Getting killed by diseases that they can't sure
3- Dying from starvation during the winter
4- Seeing how the feudal system didn't work firsthand
5- Dying from frostbite during the harsh unprotected winter

So yeah, on second thought maybe not. Or maybe just for a short time during the summer!

1. Horrid sanitation--no running water or toilets. People rarely if ever bathed.

2. Lack of rights for anyone but white noble males.

3. Lack of modern knowledge about nutrition and diseases.

4. The unreal amount of physical labor just to survive.

5. Lack of education for the majority of people.

Would like to because:

Everyone made their own ale (very high alcohol content too) and they even drank it for breakfast. (true)

Raping and pillaging didn't have the stigma attached to it that it does now.

Setting the table was easy. Everyone got a bread-plate and one knife.

No utility bills to pay.

Would not like to because:

Bubonic plague

Everyone had bad teeth and the same guy that fixed your teeth also fixed your wagon.

Women wore ankle-length dresses (they showed lots of cleavage though, so it kinda balanced out)

28 yrs was considered a ripe old age.

There was no such thing as a long weekend... or a weekend, for that matter.
