There are lots of answers:
5 boys and 19 girls
7 boys and 17 girls
11 boys and 13 girls
13 boys and 11 girls
17 girls and 7 girls
19 girls and 5 boys
There is no way to know the exact answer without additional pieces of information. By the way, 1 is not considered prime.

The answer is 11 and 13.
The clue here is that you need two prime numbers that add up to 24.
The first few prime numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17
Adding 11 and 13 together make 24.

1,3,5,7,11,13 are primes, so just go along the list until you find the first one that, when you subtract from 24, gives you another prime from the list.
