By now everyone foretold that we would be out exploring space, we would be driving around in hover cars, living in space on space ships and there would be much advancement in technology.

Why do you think we haven't reached this as yet?

Well, because we haven't even made it to the moon yet. Ever wonder after 40 years why we haven't attempted a 2nd trip?

The world has so many problems that there is no time for that its all about just makeing sure the world doen't kill itself so we don't have time to think about those flying cars when we are to worried with that if we let the emmesions continuing to come out destroying the world we will need to live on the moon! we are working on that by that first we need to figure out how to make it cheap

The answers aren't out there in space... We're going the wrong way... The answers will be found when we dare to venture into inner space and explore God and each other...

Stuff kept coming up.
Plus, living in space and jetpacks and stuff aren't as easy as you think to build.

Mostly, though, people kept putting it off.

We've been spending to much time and money on war. Everything else gets put on hold.

We are close, except for one continent, they seem to be 1000 years behind everyone else, you can guess which one it is.

coz the whold world is still trying to "develop" and besides, america is still hung up on iraq and stuff
