I have 7 years experience in the Medical Administrative field (Coding, Billing & Collections). Would I have to attend a 4 year University PLUS a 2 year PA Program?

I do not know for sure, but you might be able to transfer into the PA program after taking prerequisite courses (not actually completing the 4 year degree). As far as real life experience goes, it will look great on your college applications, but you probably won't be able to get college credit. Good luck!

Alaska/Washington program was 2 years. 1 year here in Alaska and 1 year in Washington. But you have to have AT LEAST 2 years medical background. Military medical people and EMTs are the top ones selected first into the program. I was starting at the bottom picks as a phlebotomist. I ended up in nursing school instead. I don't believe your administrative field will qualify as working in the medical field. Good luck though.
