I understand that people say they will vote for the best candidate regardless of gender. Taking the entire US into account, do you think society as a whole is ready for this?

yes, i think society would accept a women president...it just has to be the RIGHT candidate...i know i won't vote for a woman president if she is a poor choice...same with not voting for a certain male.

yes. the US is finally accepting ppl 4 who they are. but im praying to God that the right person (regardless of gender) will come and help this nation for if not the US will be held captive to a country that i dont know that will attack us in 2 years. u ppl keep ur eyes open and pray that this doesnt happen. i swear it will. i hope that well pray enough to God to take this judgement from us. for our cup has overflowed of sin. anyway. back to the main thing= yes. i think we are ready.

EDIT= they will try to conquer America cuz we are strong. oh and btw, there are 3 judgements cuz we allow sin into our country and such....

1st= 2 towers
2nd= conquer part of the US
3rd= i have no idea.

the 2nd and 3rd will only come if we dont unite and pray for our country and pray that God will delay and help us get our act together.

good day ppls!

I would like it (as long as it's a Democratic woman), however I can't see it happening. I imagine American will continue to have a tall, male, white, Christian President from either side of the political fence for some time to come.

Yeah well I think since in the next election is Hillary Clinton (the new person for Republicans or Democrats I don't remember the good one) will win because people don't want the one George Bush was on (the good one I remember is the one he isn't on)

a lady, to be elected, desires commonly male votes. maximum women people ought to under no circumstances vote for yet another lady because, as anybody is conventional with, women people see one yet another as a probability and hate receiving orders from yet another lady, or seeing yet another lady as their boss. So the question is, "are men contained in the u . s . waiting to go with a lady?" i ought to assert no. Socially, the u . s . is as backwards because the Arab countries. maximum different lands have had a minimum of one elected lady president, and this is transforming into the traditional situation in most of the international.

Okay, Mr. Enlightened One. Explain your condescension.

"I understand that people say they will vote for the best candidate ..."

They "say" they will. You, apparently, don't believe people who say this really mean it. Explain why you think they don't really mean it.

why is it such a HUGE deal? just because there has never been a female president before doesn't mean society has to prepare themselves for it all of a sudden.

new zealands last two prime ministers have been women... geez...
