If a fraction doesn't have an easy denominator to convert (one that doesn't divide into 100), then multiply the numerator by 100, then divide by the denominator. As examples:
Write 3/8 as a percent.
300 ÷ 8 = 37.5
3/8 = 37.5%
Write 4/7 as a percent.
400 ÷ 7 = 57.142857142857...
4/7 ≈ 57.1%

Take the fraction and use the following equation.
For example,,,,,
4 = n
_ ___
5 100
Then,,,,
4 (100) = 5 (n)
400 = 5 (n)
400 divided by 5 = 5 (n) divided by 5
80 = n
n = 80%
Answer is 80%
The above equation using the example of 4/5 is how you change fractions to a percent.
Use it. It is so helpful!

you first see if your denominator goes in to a hundred then how ever many times it goes into the denominator times it by the nummerator then turn the nummerator into a percent. Example:
25/50 50 divided by 100 = 2
25 times 2 = 50
so 50%

Somehow turn the bottom number so that it turns into 100. Then do the same thing to make the top number that way as well.
Example:
5/10. Multiple 10 by 10 to make it 100. Then multiply 5 by 10 to make it 50. There you go. 50 percent.

divide the bottom # into the top # ex. 3/4>% u do 3 divided by 4. you take that number and put it as a decimal (it should already be decimal form.) 3 divided by 4= .75 you take .75 and move the decimal ove 2 places to the right. so you will get 75. that is your percent. 75%. e-mail me if you still need help.

then take the answer and move the decimal place over two spots to the right
ex.)
2/4 = .5 = 50%
3/9 = .3333333 = 33.333333%
