How did he end up in a position that he should even be accused? If he has evidence he will still be held until he is found guilty or he will be let go upon a trial that the evidence has shown can prove innocence.

Sure!
That's the way most law enforcement officials work.
All the accused has to do is offer evidence, an alibi, sometimes even just an explanation to police and they usually just drop the case immediately.
They certainly will not waste time checking any of it out.
Especially for a murder case.

it is extremely consumer-friendly. people can very actual make fake accusations and characteristic people arrested or perhaps charged for against the regulation. E.g i will say my neighbour punched me in the tummy and my pal "larry" observed me. The police could arrest my neighbour per my allegation (even nonetheless its an entire lie) the CPS may even value my neighbour with attack or perhaps take him to courtroom and convict him. have confidence me this occurs all the time, with fake accusations of rapes and assaults. the only way is to make specific you preserve away with mendacity scums like this. The police have been doing their interest, they do no longer look to be judges they only place self belief in data and statements from people. yet reliable for you honourable magistrates or Jury observed the reality and aquitted you. you are able to attempt suing them for defamation even though it could be complicated. My advice shop remote from this scum

I guess they'd have to arrest him first.

But, I'd suggest that person contact the authorities that think he did it with info you say he has that clears him. Maybe they'd drop the charges if he has an alibi or something.
