I like a girl in boots, though my girlfriend refuses to wear a pair of thigh-highs I bought her as she thinks they are too sleezy and make her look like a lap dancer or something. I have tried to tell her that loads of girls go out in boots of an evening and that they are fashionable.
What do you think?

i have a pair..look good over jeans or with a nice skirt but keep away from the low cleavage tops if wearing them or you look like a hooker!!x

Sleezy - sorry. Knee high boots are better. If i saw a girl out with thigh high boots on .. I'd deffo raise an eyebrow :( Get them on ebay as I'm sure there is some lapdancer that would buy them.

Thigh-high boots. Stylish or sleezy? -- OH, Very yes - depending on your intent. Wear it, own it...and who cares what the neighbors think? And for you, she should wear them - even if it's only to your fantasy dinner where the two of you choose a menu and an atmosphere and a secluded table for two...it's really all about the two of you anyway, isn't it?

I love it. If the girl has thin and long legs it looks very sexy, and we're not talking about the cheep shiny latex ones, right? cuz those do look tacky and stripper-like.
Wear it with a nice short skirt with a cute turtle neck, accent it with a long coat, a large off the shoulder handbag, and a pair of earing, large black sun glasses, hair pulled back... shiny glossy lips, and she'll look like she got off a runway show.
PS: If she's uncomfortable with wearing that short of a skirt, she can wear these trendy patterned panty hose, you can find cute ones from Victorias Secret. They are so pretty (that's where I get mine from) but they also rip easily. You may also wanna try Nordstrom.

I had to snicker when I examine something else of your answer. It gave the look of you've been initially speaking about actual thigh intense boots.. like unique dancers might want to positioned on!! fortuitously you're speaking about 'less than the knee' boots! yet i do not positioned on boots of any kind. (I stay in Florida too.) i ended operating many years in the past, yet on an same time when I labored, I wore scrubs.

Sleezy. If you are wearing a knee length skirt it might not be as bad though. IT is sleezy any other way though.

its sleezy if she wont wear them buy her some boots that go right under her knees and see if she likes them if not just take her with you the next time you buy her something nice

Thigh highs are definately sleazy but I think that's the appeal. They are only worn outdoors by sleazy girls. They are NOT fashionable.
Try to convince your girlfriend to wear them indoors just for you. Perhaps if you pitch it more as dressing up than a fashion choice she will go for it. They might be sleazy but they are sexy. Perhaps when she see's your reaction she will change her opinion.

I think your girlfriend is right you only wear boots that high when you are a stripper or in the privecy of your house
