He´s Paul Rodgers.
He´s been in many bands since the late 60´s,
well, first he was in the band Free,
Then he went to Bad Company,
Then in the 80´s he worked on a bit of solo projects, & after that
he´s been through a couple of bands...
Finally in 2005 he joined Queen...
And he did well I think!

Freddie was actually more self-conscious about his teeth more than his ethnicity I think. And I dont think its true that he wasnt judged about being gay. I've met a lot of idiots that dont know jack about music that dont like Queen because the singer was gay and the band had a name with gay connotations. Until I also point that Rob Halford is gay, too. Its just that true, real, raw talent like that .. like sexual attraction, when its extreme like that, knows no racial boundaries. Its not 100% fool-proof, however. It just helps, a lot. There is no psychology as to why Jackson dyed his skin, if he did at all. That kid was already a world super star at the age of 11 years old. Queen took a long time to get the respect they deserved. They werent immediately accepted in all rock circles as being a great band. They were pretty different, and strange, and it took a long time for more people as a whole to respect them for the incredible musicians that they were. I just wish I would have seen them when Freddie was alive.
