I'm not sure what you mean by the question. Unless you're thinking of transgender people (men who dress as women, or men who believe they are women and have a sex change). Which is different from gay men. Gay men like being men and are into men's bodies.
There are four different types of transgender: transsexual, crossdresser, transvestite and drag queen. The transsexual wishes to have a sex change and lives as the opposite sex. Therefore, he becomes a she and does all the legal things to become a she, including a legal name change and hormone therapy.
The crossdresser likes to wear women's clothes because he likes to express his feminine side - the crossdresser may still live as a man for much of the time, and may be heterosexual - just because a man dresses up as a woman doesn't mean he's gay.
The transvestite dresses up in women's clothing for sexual gratification - he is turned on by women's clothing. He is usually heterosexual.
The drag queen dresses up as a woman as part of a performance. The drag queen is usually a gay man, and dresses up to entertain and impress people. Some drag queens dress up to make people laugh, or they dress up to look like a celebrity and they can be quite impressive. Or they may dress up to seduce men. The men they suduce? Most likely men who like transgender people, though some gay men will like them if the drag queen doesn't have real breasts.

I wonder the exact same thing. i think it's more of a fastination with women body and something they yern for. For instance i'm gay and i have alot of gay male friends and their always like " i love your boobs" aww you have such a great body and their always tickling me or trying to touch me..lol i don't think it's an attraction to me of course they just like the female body.
