We are all different, and strive for independence and are rewarded for achieving the unattainable.
Conflict is the answer you seek.
But, hope and faith live on, in spite of it all, and, in the words of John Lennon, "All you need is love..."'
So, in this yuletide season...keep the faith!

Physically incarnated beings are here to learn through experience. Many people get along quite well. Others experience conflict and grow from it.
The material universes themselves are devolving. For the past 5000 years our planet has been experiencing an age of chaos and confusion. Following this period or age, the fourth of four ages, there will be a time of resting, followed by the begining of the first age. During the first 3 1/2 ages there is global unity and peace.
Until then, strife will continue, although we as individuals can still devote ourselves to ahimsa or non-violence and peace.
Hope this helps,
~John of AllFaith

Because we are only as strong as the weakest chain in our link. Basically, that means ppl like Hitler, Napoleon, and Bin Ladin can come along and ruin a world that otherwise seemed pretty fairly stable. That;s the sad fate of humanity....but go ahead and try to hold hands anyway...maybe, someday, we will all be in peace....

I believe that it is because most people cannot except themselves as people and when you are unable to except yourself you find ways to make yourself seem better by collect in groups of people who usually act the same or you create a dislike for other people. If a person can except them self then they can except others. If they can love them self then they can love others. In words it is very easy but in The true essence it is very hard

We all seem to want our beliefs to be what everybody else believes also. That's never going to happen, so that creates conflict.
BUT, we are intelligent beings, and should embrace and celebrate our diversity, and the world would be a more peaceful place. Live and let live.

Evolutionary design..same as all species we are destined to become extinct. Being at the top of the food chain we must compete with ourselves..Like a cancer cell we grow until we destroy the host.

It's because we do not accept certain aspects of ourselves. When other remind us of those aspects we externalize the unhappiness and direct it toward the other person/s. When we manage to accept ourselves as we are, we can more easily deal with the shortcomings of others.

Ego
Self centered ego.
For as long as there is egotistical
behaviour they will be envy, greed, jeolousy
which would lead to unfairness, hatred and war.
Lose the ego and discover peace.
