He has - he does.

I have friends who lost their oldest son in Iraq, and believe me - the President HAS taken responsibility for the mess in Iraq. I'd go into detail, but I don't think you really care - I think you're just trying to stir the pot.

He hasn't so far; and he certainly has not taken responsibility for anything else that has gone wrong for the past 6 years.
Hell, I don't even know if he will ever admit that Iraq is a mess.

He can't have all the credit. It was our soldiers who captured Saddam. It was our military who weakened the terrorists and divided them. It was our soldiers who were deployed over there. I want to thank them, they have done well, even though there is still violence. The opposition will wear down. Many of the opposition come from lebanon, syria, and iran. So, u can imagine what our soldiers have to deal with. But Bush does have the manhood to take charge and go after those who support terrorism. Clinton didn't do as well, but it is not his fault. Bush has been bashed and bashed by people like Kerry and Clark, but he won't give up.

Like step to a microphone and apologize to the Iraq people, and the families of our fallen soldiers?

I doubt that very much. The mess will be there in two years when he leaves, and someone else will have to fix it.
