is the r in region in Arctic region capatalized?
i looked it up on google and some say no and some say yes. please help guys!!

my answer would be yes and no. I want to say that it can go either way depending on how it is used with the word Artic. Focus on the context of the word in the sentence. If used by itself however, capitalize it. example---- Mississippi River
both are caped Because river,even though not a proper noun, becomes proper when used with Mississippi.
