Let her go. Get a divorce, and ask for visitation rights. I don't feel one bit sorry for her leaving you.

Danielle you insufferable b**h, don't answer when you are too bitter to be objective. Are you without flaws?

That said, questioner, I feel your pain. D's advice (go ahead with the divorce but make certain you get visitation with or custody of the kids) is probably correct. You will hear about a situation very similar to yours in support meetings and some recovery books describe it. It is not uncommon, but that does not at all atke the pain away.

Don't abandon your kids or use them as pawns. You're obviously learning things in rehab so know not to play those games. And don't pal around with that friend any longer.

This is kinda confusing since not many details. Why did she marry you if she was interested in this other guy? Also, did she really give your marriage a chance? I mean, she continued to call him?
I guess you should try to work out some kind of visitation with her for the kids. I don't know if she still wants to be with you - or ever did.

Then fight for your kids and atleast she stood by you when u went throught that part in your life when u were down....

What u can tell her is thank you for being there for me and thanks for my 3 children and wish her all the happiness in the world in her further endeavour.....

And what u can do now is move on with life because your been given a second change be a father for your children now and enjoy what life have to offer (stay away from drugs)

congrats on the rehab! well sometimes people tend to make a big deal out of nothing, yes if she wants to leave let her go, its really not worth it. you are lucky she stuck around for as long as she did, but dont take advantage of it. whats best for you/. for her? for the kids? you will always have your kids even if things dont work out between the two of you.

good luck and remember that which doesnt kill us only makes us stronger
