Does anyone know if the xbox 360 will play old xbox games?

Yes you can play original xbox games but you need to be connected to xbox live first. Meaning you need to ensure your Xbox360 have access to the internet either through LAN or direct but mostly LAN. But you may need to check out the link first to see if your xbox game will receive the auto-free update.

you may in case you move on-line with it. there is something on there that you get carry of to make it paintings. i could not imagine bothering with it after taking section in 360 video games to be truthful.

It will play SOME but not all. Go to www.xbox.com, do a backward compatibility search, click on the link for a list of backward compatible games.
