If those colors are girly then I guess girls have the best sports colors ever. Lakers, the best known basketball team with the most famous players, have purple are yellow. LSU the best football team under most conditions, plus having the best in many other categories are yellow and purple. So in summary no yellow and purple together are not girly. They cancel each other out and become the best colors for sports.

not that I am a Laker fan....but purple had been the color of royalty for a lot longer than the Lakers have been around. and the color gold with it is even more so the color of royalty. So I guess I would have to disagree with you.

well i really like them, the college i want to go to has them and they look great. except they call it gold, but its well enough yellow. i dont think purples very girly, when i was younger i did, but if its not pale i think its not a gender specific color
and ihave to disagree with meird... i dont find the tarheels girly, at all. dont get me wrong i dislike them with a passion GO DUKE⥠but their not girly

Correction, they're not yellow & purple, their colors are purple & gold, get it right!!! (even though it does look yellowish) but at least they have better jerseys than the phoenix suns. . .the orange ones, ugh!!! oh yeah and the denver nuggets. . . baby blue, u gotta be kidding me!!!! ( dont get me wrong, i like baby blue the color, but them jerseys do not look good)
