Carman's candels went out of business! They were soy and had a scent that filled up my whole house!I hate wasting money on those that only smell good up close!

I know what you mean about soy candles. I'll never go back to paraffin. There's hardly a trace of soot, your house stays cleaner and they smell wonderfully fragrant. i buy my soy candles online.

Yankee Candles, available at Hallmark and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I gave my grandmother a rose-scented Yankee candle for Christmas, and it filled the house until her oldest son went outside in a fit of male disgust! Even when it wasn't lit it gave off a pleasant odor that could be smelled nearby.

Yankee and white barn or whatever bath and body works home store is called has the good ones. I find that the jar is best because you can close them when not in use. They seem to retain their scents better. I've moved to the scented oils. They give a much stronger scent. I like the burners that use a tea light. Again you can get them at bath and body works.

The best candles I've ever burned are Olde South. Just type in Olde South Candles in your search engine and you will find them. Price them through several sites, cause some are cheaper. If you get a chance, try Blueberry Hot Cakes.....it is so goooood!

I love the oil burners that use a tea light, it fills the entire house within minutes. Try bath n body works. They have a Holiday special buy two oils and get a warmer free.

I have the febreeze scent stories and it works so good. I will never have candles again. Maybe you can try that out.

i think wood wick from hallmark are the best and last the longest another one is gold cannon.
