The timer is a 1 knob clock in the middle of the console.

I had the same problem, a repairman came and looked at it. He stated that he could repair it but without a guarantee that it would work. He also informed me that I would be better off purchasing a new stove. If you decide to purchase a new one check with the store and see if they have any that came in damaged, mine has a small ding on the side (which is hidden by the counter) and I got it for half price because of this damage.

I dont know how you checked it. Visually or with a meter. Visually won't work. Move it out and check for a burned wire going to the element. Un plug it before checking wire.

did you clean the stove and remove the knob? maybe put it back wrong? Is there a safety lock thats not engaging?
