ps3 or nintendo wii?

If you REALLY want to pick between those 2 and if i could get either one I'd personally get a PS3 just because i could but if you want fun games get a PS3. Yea the PS3 has some games right now like Resistance and Motor Storm but most of the launch titles have gotten lower scores than the Wii's. I think 99% of gamers including non-gamers want to at least want to TRY the Wii cuz it's so different and the PS3s controller is nothing like it. The only think it has over the Wii is graphics, power, and more media like being able to listen to music you either download or put on it from a PC or whatever and watch videos. It has internet and can store photos and messaging but he Wii has that too. I'm personally a fan of Nintendo and i understand what they're doing so i want a Wii myself. Most people think the DS's touch screen and the Wii's remote are just gimmicks but at least they're trying to do something different and think of new ways to make gaming more interesting. But I think a 360 would be good for right now becuz it's had almost a year to fix any problems with the system and it has a huge library of games. We'll have to wait at least a few months to see if the Wii and PS3 can hold up and especially the PS3 to the 360s graphics and media and their overall headstart. But between those two and if you can get either one PS3.

I'd have to go with the Wii, personally.

I've been a Nintendo fan for a long time now, and the fact that the PS3 costs so much, and because I like the Wii's controller so much, makes the Wii a clear winner for me.

Actrally i like them both. I just wish the wii and ps3 features were combined on one system. That would be cool. Also in the future they might add a dvd feature to the wii

if you have the money for a ps3.. then go with a 360 and a wii for less... hardcore games.. hd dvd drive available for 360.. and then something so different with the wii... ive heard graphics on ps3 look very xbox 360ish....

wii all the way ps3 is gonna be good in the start then it is gonna bomb. i mean look people still want a copy of the 64 but do you want a copy of the playstation 1. i didnt think so but 360 is the best choice of all next to comp.

Two different types of systems.
If you want a larger game base as well as hi-def, then go ps3.
If you want to save money and the system is for a young chikd, go Wii.

ps3 because it is better than xbox360 as far as graphics go. have you seen the graphics for wii? Its a good idea making the gamesystem hit you closer to home by making it motion operated but seriously, should it come at the cost of horid graphics
