Traditions are things (usually celebrated with family) that continue on, generations through generations.
Here are some examples;
1) Every Christmas the family has dinner at Grandma's house.
2) Every Easter you go to church with your mom.
3) Each year on Christmas Eve, you each open one gift.
4) Every friday we order out for dinner
5) Every child in the family, when turning 16, gets a ring with their initials.

Do you mean traditions? It would be like something you do regularly. For example, if you went to your parents house every year for Thanksgiving. It would be a sort of tradition. You can make your own. Repeatably doing something, especially on holidays. Hope I answered correctly.
