Some people say why not study to become a lawyer. Is there something wrong with being a paralegal? Is the pay bad?

It's like being a nurse. There's nothing wrong with it at all, and they're vital and necesary to the utmost. Some might have the inclination or circumstances in life to go further and become a full fledged doctor or lawyer, and that's okay as well.

I don't really know about the pay though, honestly.

Any position in the legal industry requires an attention to detail, as not to present the incorrect information or idea.

Check the spelling on your question.

New paralegals can start as low as $12 per hour. Expect to work a few years before earning over $17 per hour.
