live birthing fish (like mollys) are almost always pregnant, and can store sperm for up to 6 months, so can basically self impregnate! if it has a fat belly it could well be, the pregnant female will sometimes irritate other fish which can be a sign. depends on how dark your fish are (although i suspect too dark) but sometimes you can see a dark spot on their belly's. she may also linger around the heater if there is one, and avoid her tank-mates when the time is near.

make sure she is not stressed out and that there are enough other females to avoid the males harassing her constantly, as this can be stressful! also DON'T put her in a trap or breeding net type contraption as this can stress them out and cause stillbirth or miscarriage. the best thing if you need to separate her is to go for a separate tank.

good luck!

careful they can breed like wild fire lol.

I had 5 mollies and 5 guppys

in under 6 months I now have over 20 of each,

remember your local fish shop will gladly take any babies off your hands so dont do anything drastic if you come down one day to find loads of babies swimming around.

Mollys dont lay eggs they are live bearers so who ever said they lay eggs is wrong

you should probably check with someone like a fish expert at petco or anyone you can find. if you don't know anyone to ask this question to then go on the internet and research on fish and fish experts. if your fish is pregnant then you should do what i told you very soon.

You'll soon tell, it's vent will become protruded and other predatory fish will be following it around ready for a snack.

if it is pregnant it will get fatter rapidly, also watch out when it is giving birth as it is a live bearer your best bet would be to place it in a trap.
