my garage door is acting all wonky. When I tried to open it, it wouldn't open. And then miraculously, it decided to open itself in the middle of the night. When I open it, it only opens part of the way, stays open for a few minutes and then closes again. I've tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in. Is there a reset button? What else can I do?

ck batteries in remote, try changing the codes, ck the eyes on either side of the door opening and make sure they r lined up with each other.......

if all this ckecks out then the springs might have be come loose and need to be tightened.....also check that the door is tracking right, going up and down smooth.....

there should be a cord right at the spot where the metal bracket that ties the door to the track, pull this down and it will allow u to move the door up and down by hand.....

I assume you have a remote opener. It might be the remote or RFI ( radio interference) like when you change tv stations or a neighbor uses electrical equipment.Next best thing is call the manufacturer

There should be a reset button on it, look on top if you don't see it on the bottom or sides.
